Anderson Yu
Associate Director
Anderson is a senior from Ridge High School. He plays the violin and is part of the Bravura Youth Orchestra, where he went on an international tour to Europe. He has also been accepted and participated in the NJ All-State Orchestra. In Anderson’s free time, he enjoys playing table tennis with his friends.

Natalie Cheng
Associate Director
Natalie Cheng is a senior at Montgomery High School. She plays the violin and viola and is part of the Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey. She has been selected for New Jersey All-State and Region Orchestras, is concertmaster of her school's Symphonic Orchestra, and is the second violinist of the Willow Quartet. Outside of music, Natalie leads local mental health initiatives through the Montgomery Youth Action Board and creates elementary school outreaches as part of Peer Leadership. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and singing karaoke with her friends.

Jessica Hong
Associate Director
Jessica Hong is a senior at East Brunswick High School. As a devoted cellist in the 11th year of study, she has been selected for All-State and Region orchestras every year since the sixth grade. In 2025, Jessica joined the NAfME All-Eastern Symphony Orchestra as 1 of the 14 cellists chosen from 13 eastern states. For solo and chamber performances, she has won awards from various music competitions, such as VIVO International Music Competition, Camerata Artists International Competition, NLPA International Young Artists Competition, and MTNA State competition among others. Working with Helping Harmony to help children from low-income families has been incredibly fulfilling and rewarding, allowing Jessica to serve the community through music. Outside of cello, she is a science enthusiast passionate about problem-solving with scientific innovations. A fun fact about Jessica is that you could find a drawing of a gigantic seat belt by her on the internet.

Jane Shindnes
Associate Director
Jane Shindnes is a senior at the Lawrenceville School. She plays the flute, piccolo, and piano, and acts as the first flautist of her school’s philharmonic orchestra as well as the head of public relations for the school’s music council. When she’s not practicing, Jane dedicates her time to the theater arts through directing, designing, costuming, and occasionally, even acting. Outside of the arts, Jane is a prefect in her dorm and a tour guide. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, reading, and listening to music.
